Well, hello there...

It's so lovely you're here in my little corner of the web. You're likely here to find out more about me, so I won't disappoint. I'm 27, born and raised in Ohio, and while my heart will always be here in the Midwest, I love traveling. My most frequent work destinations are Washington DC, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Las Vegas, but in my personal life I've spent time in Scotland, Japan, scuba diving all over the Caribbean, and a few treks to South America, as well.

I have an undergraduate degree in Creative Writing, and I'm passively taking classes to learn web design and development (yes, I will be getting off of Wordpress soon, I have a custom site I'm working on in my free time), and I have plans to return to school for an MFA in Creative Writing to hone my literary voice. I'm a bit of a Renaissance woman in my free time: I enjoy hiking, mixology, cooking, making ice cream, working in my wood shop, gardening, interior decorating, playing music--piano, clarinet, and alto saxophone--in addition to being an avid reader. (I hide it well for those not interested, but if you're a nerd, don't be shy to bring it up. I'm also a Comic Con-goer and love pop culture.)
